Our classmate, J.P has a fantastic Newberry Award winner to
share with us. He read the novel, Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, a
historical fiction novel that takes place during the Civil War era. Below is
his first-hand book review:
Roll of Thunder,
Hear My Cry is an excellent tale based on realistic ideas and truths. It is
a great summer book to read and enjoy. This fantastic book tells the tale of
the Logan family fighting to stay on their land.
