Point of View vs. Truth
Today we read chapter 9 of The Phantom Tollbooth titled, "It's All in How You Look at Things". We discussed the difference between point of view and truth. The students showed a clear understanding for point of view being a subjective perspective belonging to individuals, while the truth is a verified (and sought-after) principal that is unchanging.
