Can you spare some pantry basics? With the holidays upon us, food banks around the valley are struggling to not only help provide families with holiday meals, they also need to keep enough pantry basics on hand to provide for daily meals. This year ACA is partnering with the Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank to help them continue to feed the more than 4,200 families they assist. Most of their clients are working families who are employed full-time or part-time, and yet still are in need of supplemental food.
Items they are in need of include: peanut butter, canned tuna, cereal, soup, pasta, dried beans, juice, macaroni & cheese, pasta, diapers and formula, as well as any other non-perishable food items.
The Archway food drive will take place 11/26 – 12/10. For your convenience we will have collection bins at each of the drop off locations and at the front office. This is a great opportunity to teach our children about giving to those in need. Please consider donating any of these non-perishable food items. Together we can make a difference!
