Perseverance

We spurn despair and strive to complete tasks to the best of our abilities, regardless of the difficulty. We respond creatively to overcome obstacles and ask for help when necessary.

Quote of the Week

“So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s a Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed!) Kid, you’ll move mountains!”

On Reflection of Great Works

Today our class read Robert Frost's classic poem, "The Road Not Taken". We found ourselves engaged in an incredibly deep and captivating discussion about the meaning and symbolism of this piece. The students analyzed each stanza by expressing their interpretations with great eloquence; they also modeled gracious listening, which allowed for a very productive discussion. I'm so impressed by the ideas shared and interpretations made! You will see a reflection assignment coming home tonight. Please join in this conversation with your child and encourage deep thinking!
