Perseverance

We spurn despair and strive to complete tasks to the best of our abilities, regardless of the difficulty. We respond creatively to overcome obstacles and ask for help when necessary.

Quote of the Week

“So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s a Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed!) Kid, you’ll move mountains!”

Archway Olympics

"The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning, but taking part; the essential thing in life is not conquering, but fighting well."
- Pierre de Coubertin (Primarily responsible for the revival of the Olympic Games in 1894)

The students had so much fun participating in the Archway Olympics yesterday! Your children are models of great teamwork and perseverance! Thank you to all of the parent volunteers; we couldn't have done it without you. A special thanks to Coach Knight, who organized and oversaw the entire event. We appreciate you all so much!

(If you have pictures of the students from the day, please email them to me so I can post them on the blog. Thank you!)
