Perseverance

We spurn despair and strive to complete tasks to the best of our abilities, regardless of the difficulty. We respond creatively to overcome obstacles and ask for help when necessary.

Quote of the Week

“So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s a Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed!) Kid, you’ll move mountains!”

On Remembrance and Patriotism

Today is the 71st anniversary of Pearl Harbor. It is very important that our students learn about their history, rights, and responsibilities as American citizens. Children will never fully appreciate the freedoms that Americans enjoy unless they first understand the origins of our nation, the sacrifices of so many across the generations that came before them, and the courage of our men and women who are once again fighting to preserve freedom across the globe. I am certain that our Great-Hearted student body truly appreciates learning about our country's history and the trials that our forefathers endured for our freedom.

Today, let us remember and honor our bravest citizens who have fought to protect our principles of freedom and democracy and to keep us safe.
