Can you believe it is the last week of school!? Where did
the time go???
Here is a brief agenda for the week:
Language Arts: The
students will spend some time finishing up their Chronicles of Narnia
board games, and begin playing their games on Tuesday. We will wrap up chapter
10 in Grammar will some final review of Pattern 3 sentences and pluralizing
rules. The students will take their last Latin and Greek test on Monday! You
should be seeing proverb and idiom books coming home this week; I encourage you
to spend some time going through each saying with your kids to see all of the
hard work they put into this project! On Monday, we will delve into a
Touchstones discussion over The
Stonecutter, a tale from Japan. Ask your child about this so you can
continue the conversation at home!
History/Geography: We
will continue working through our Native Americans: Cultures and Conflicts unit
until the end of the week. There will not be a test over this content. Your children
are also binding their state books, so you should see these coming home this
week, as well. I encourage the children to hang onto these books and look
through them over the summer, as the content will be useful at CPA in sixth
grade.
Science: Monday
and Tuesday will be spend going over the Matter and Chemistry unit and
completing a study guide. The quiz over the content will be on Wednesday.
